Our medical assistant, who has served for 12 years, is resigning to move back to Skåne. Therefore, we are looking for a replacement at the Odenplan Eye Clinic for a permanent position. The clinic is run by an ophthalmologist.

Job Responsibilities

You will work both at the reception, where you will receive and register patients, and participate in patient care activities at the clinic. This also includes handling payments.

Requirements and Qualifications

No previous healthcare experience is required, as the tasks are limited and we provide quick training. The most important qualities are that you are friendly, patient with our patients, and eager to learn new things. You should be flexible, independent, structured, and punctual.

If you are already a nurse, assistant nurse, or eye nurse, this is a significant advantage, especially if you have experience with medical records. We consider the whole picture when making our choice, but experience is not a strict requirement.

Personal Attributes

We are looking for someone who is proactive, has an eye for what needs to be done, and always strives to provide the best service. You should be skilled in verbal and written communication and fluent in Swedish. Enjoying working with people and providing good service is a core attitude for you.

Employment Type and Start Date

The employment initially starts as a temporary hourly position, but after a few weeks (assuming everything goes according to plan), it will convert to a permanent position. Since you will sometimes work independently and alone in the clinic, we expect you to have the ability to manage and plan your work effectively.
