The Elderly Care Administration, where the position of SAS (Socially Responsible Coordinator)/Business Developer is located, is responsible for elderly care and municipal health and medical care in Hallstahammar Municipality. The administration is divided into business areas: special housing, support in own home, health and medical care, and assistance. We have good internal and external collaboration, where we work without hierarchy and with a focus on those we serve. Hallstahammar is an elderly-friendly municipality, and within the Elderly Care Administration, there is a special unit focused on preventive work.

WORK ASSIGNMENTS

We are currently looking for an SAS/Business Developer! Are you an engaged, experienced, and knowledgeable person within the social services sector? You could be the one we are looking for! You need to be non-hierarchical, task-focused, pedagogical, and a good communicator.

As an SAS/Business Developer, you will have an overarching and strategic function for quality control and quality assurance within the social services sector based on current laws and regulations. At the same time, you will have a supporting and educational role for the various operations of the Elderly Care Administration. You will be primarily responsible for deviation management/Lex Sarah and the quality management system for social services. This involves coordinating and ensuring that routines and guidelines are always updated in close collaboration with managers and employees. You are expected to be driving in change and development work and in various processes ongoing within the administration. You will be primarily responsible for the continued implementation of the new Social Services Act and will also have some responsibility for various types of statistics. Other tasks may become relevant.

You will be part of a great team together with other support functions, including MAS (Medical Responsible Nurse) and MAR (Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation), with whom you will work closely. Your function is cross-administrative, and you are expected to contribute to the whole. Collaboration with several different internal and external actors is central to the assignment, which is why it is crucial that you are skilled at it. Hallstahammar is a smaller municipality with great opportunities to influence.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

  • Academic degree as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or other education that the employer deems equivalent and relevant for the assignment, but we are primarily looking for a social worker.
  • Academic education in social law.
  • Good command of Swedish in speech and writing.
  • Class B driver's license.
  • Relevant work experience related to the assignment.

Merits:

  • Work experience as an SAS, developer, or strategist from several of the social services' business areas, including the elderly area.
  • Experience as a trainer/lecturer.
  • Experience in authority enforcement within the elderly area.

Personal qualities:

You are confident in yourself, clear in your communication, proactive, and results-oriented with a good ability to organize and prioritize. You are non-hierarchical and open to others' input, but also decisive when required. You are task-focused, engaged, structured, and act based on laws, goals, and assignments. You see the big picture and take into account the larger perspective, thinking strategically and long-term for the benefit of the operation. You are flexible and can adapt quickly.
