About the role
As our Lunch Head Chef, you are responsible for running the lunch service with high quality, pace, and precision. You plan and execute mise en place, cook, and ensure that dishes maintain the correct taste, temperature, and presentation, while coordinating deliveries to the service area. This role involves close collaboration with the Head Chef, the service team, and suppliers to create a safe and well-functioning lunch experience for our guests.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily planning and production of the lunch menu, including mise en place and timing.
  • Lead and delegate tasks in the kitchen during lunch shifts and ensure efficient collaboration with service staff.
  • Ensure quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes leaving the kitchen.
  • Maintain food hygiene and HACCP routines and ensure the kitchen is clean and organized.
  • Manage orders, portion calculations, and minimize food waste through effective planning.
  • Participate in menu development and adaptation based on seasonality and guest preferences.

We are looking for someone who is professional, structured, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You have a burning passion for cooking, a good sense for flavors and presentation, and the ability to work independently and lead a small team during lunch service.

  • Have documented experience from a restaurant kitchen, preferably with experience leading teams or managing production flow.
  • Are familiar with food hygiene and HACCP routines.
  • Work in a structured manner, are detail-oriented, and solution-focused under pressure.
  • Communicate well in Swedish and English.

You are a pedagogical and positive team player who takes responsibility, gives clear instructions, and contributes to a good working environment. Flexibility regarding working hours, including some evenings and weekends, is required.
