Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer.

What You Will Work On

• Participate in system development activities from a software testing perspective.
• Design, implement, and maintain manual and automated test solutions.
• Create and maintain test environments, simulators, and integrated system setups.
• Perform troubleshooting, defect analysis, and issue reproduction.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including test specifications and reports.
• Support requirements management and test case design activities.
• Perform testing within product development projects related to chromatography and filtration systems.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and system engineering teams.
• Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support validation and verification activities across complex system environments.

What You Bring

• University degree within Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar software testing role.
• Documented experience with software testing in complex systems.
• Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Strong experience with test case design and requirements management.
• Experience working with simulators and integrated test environments.
• Good understanding of network architecture and communication protocols.
• Experience working within agile development environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Git including version management and branching strategies.
• Experience working with ALM tools for requirements, test case, and defect management.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Fluent Swedish and English communication skills, spoken and written.
• Ability to work onsite in Uppsala up to 5 days per week.
