We are now looking for a secure, warm, and stable personal assistant for a 57-year-old woman with Down syndrome and dementia.

She is a spirited and strong-willed woman with a lot of personality, humor, and clear opinions. She knows what she wants and tries hard to get her way, which requires you as an assistant to remain calm, consistent, and reassuring in your interactions. You must be able to stick firmly to routines and agreements, even when faced with persuasion attempts or resistance.

The client needs support and help in all aspects of her daily life – including personal care, hygiene, meals, transfers, activities, and everything else related to daily living. The role also involves creating security, structure, and quality of life through a calm and respectful approach.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has great patience and a calm demeanor
• Is secure, stable, and clear in their working style
• Can work systematically and follow routines
• Is sensitive and empathetic without becoming unsure about setting boundaries
• Has good teamwork skills and takes responsibility
• Sees the person behind the diagnoses
• Has the ability to create security and continuity
• Is flexible and can adapt to the client's daily condition and needs

Experience in personal assistance, dementia care, or intellectual disabilities is an advantage, but personal suitability is decisive.

Working hours are spread across all hours of the day, including evenings, nights, and weekends. Double assistance is provided during certain times of the day.
