About the Operations

The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, pedagogical care, after-school centers, preschool class, comprehensive school, adapted comprehensive school, upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, municipal adult education, Komvux as special education for adults, Swedish for Immigrants (SFI), youth clubs, open preschool, and cultural school.

Preschool and after-school activities are available at all seven F-6 schools, with a geographical spread throughout the municipality.

Altorpskolan, the municipality's only 7-9 school, receives students from all our F-6 schools and is strategically located in central Herrljunga. Kunskapskällan, the municipality's upper secondary school, is also located in Herrljunga town.

Responsibilities

Now is the chance to work as a native language teacher in Herrljunga Municipality if you have one or more of the following languages: Persian (Dari), Polish, English, Dutch, Tigrinya, Kinyarwanda, Somali, or Kurdish. Each language has a basis of approximately 20% in native language instruction, but a larger position may become relevant depending on the need for study guidance.

Your base will be at Altorpskolan in Herrljunga town, which means you have your workplace, administrator, and principal here. As needed, you will move around the municipality to the different schools depending on which school your students attend.

Qualifications

It is meritorious if you have previous experience working as a native language teacher and are certified to teach in the relevant language.
