We are looking for experienced doctors who wish to contribute competence, stability, and a desire to develop our obstetric and gynecological services in Örnsköldsvik. The positions are permanent, full-time or part-time, with start date by agreement.

Responsibilities

As a Specialist Physician or Chief Physician with us, you will:

• Work broadly within both obstetrics and gynecology
• Contribute experience and serve as a reliable clinical resource
• Support supervision and knowledge transfer
• Participate in on-call duties
• Help shape structures, routines, and future working methods

We prefer that you are unpretentious, thrive in close collaborations, and feel confident in clinical assessments.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

For Chief Physicians and Specialist Physicians:

• Are a Specialist Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Have supervisor training for physicians
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

For Chief Physicians:

• Can work alone as the back-on-call physician in your specialty, or alternatively have overarching competence within your subspecialty with the ability to take overall responsibility
• Have at least 3 years of clinical full-time employment after obtaining specialist competence in Obstetrics and Gynecology

It is an advantage if you

For Chief Physicians:

• Have a PhD with active research in a relevant field
• Have teaching and/or supervisory experience
• Have leadership and administrative experience/training

The following documentation must be attached to your application according to the handling order for expert review when employing specialist-trained physicians at academic healthcare units and university healthcare units:

• Scientific merits (if applicable)
  • Certificate of academic degree, e.g., Doctor of Medicine or Docent
  • Complete list of publications
• Pedagogical merits (if applicable)
  • Certificate/documentation of teaching experience
  • Certificate of supervisor course (basic or specialist training)
• Clinical and other merits (if applicable)
  • Certificate of subspecialization
  • Certificate/documentation of management roles and/or operational development

Verification of medical license and all relevant specialist certificates via the National Board of Health and Welfare (HOSP) will take place when the application is received.
