We are currently recruiting for a consultant position as an experienced Accountant/Controller for our client, the Swedish National Property Board (SFV), in Stockholm.
Assignment Details:
- Scope: Full-time (100%)
- Start Date: July 20th
- End Date: January 31, 2027, with possibility of extension
You will be employed by Poolia but work on-site at our client's premises.
About the Role
Due to a leave of absence, SFV is looking for a driven and self-sufficient Controller with strong accounting knowledge. Remote work is possible in exceptional cases and upon agreement with your direct manager.
Your Responsibilities
In this Controller role, you will primarily work closely with several unit managers. You will support them in economic planning, follow-up, and reporting. Your main responsibilities include coordinating, reporting, and ensuring the quality of the units' finances in connection with budgeting, forecasting, and closing accounts.
The role also involves ongoing accounting tasks, such as reclassifications, accruals, and providing economic support to employees within the unit. You will be part of the Finance Unit, where your closest colleagues are based, and will have access to various competencies within the unit.
Who Are You?
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Degree in Economics (Bachelor's or Master's).
- At least 3 years of experience in financial management, planning, budgeting, and operational follow-up.
- Experience in coordinating and leading colleagues, as well as supporting managers in budget, forecast, and closing processes. You must be able to structure work, adhere to timelines, and ensure that materials meet the required quality standards.
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting, where you have independently performed closing procedures (e.g., account reconciliation, reclassifications, and accruals in connection with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing).
Merits:
- At least 3 years of experience with the financial system Unit4 ERP (Agresso) and its various modules.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Controller collaborating with managers on financial matters (budget, forecast, and closing).
