Have you wondered what it would be like to teach and pass on your knowledge to the next generation within the Gardening Industry? Now we are looking for an engaged and driven vocational teacher who wants to help develop our vocational programs in Gardening!

What does the role entail?

As a Gardening Teacher with us, you will be responsible for teaching gardening subjects within the Natural Resource Program's specializations in gardening work, cultivation, maintenance of outdoor environments, and garden design.

Teaching takes place in both practical and theoretical forms, both at the school and at the students' workplace. This requires planning and structuring of the teaching.

An important part of the position is collaboration and contact with workplaces and companies regarding Workplace-based Learning (APL). This involves joint planning and follow-up of the teaching.

We are looking for you who have:

• Experience and knowledge: Many years of practical professional experience within the gardening industry combined with a good ability to convey knowledge. School or pedagogical experience is meritorious.
• Engagement and drive: You are highly engaged and driven by seeing students' development and success.
• Collaboration skills: You enjoy collaborating and working together with colleagues and others involved in adult education.
• Networking: We would like you to have a broad network and feel comfortable creating and maintaining good relationships with the business community and other key actors to strengthen our students' future.

Qualifications

• You are a licensed vocational teacher or have a secondary education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• You have several years of practical, relevant experience working within the gardening industry.

Meritorious

• A large network within the gardening industry in the Västra Götaland region is meritorious.

Other

• Permanent employment with a probationary period, part-time or 100%.
• We primarily seek you who are qualified, but you who are studying to become a vocational teacher or coming directly from the industry are also welcome to apply.
• We see that as a person you are highly engaged, enjoy working with people, and are driven by seeing students' development. That you like working in a team but are also skilled at structuring and planning your own teaching.
• We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
