Job Responsibilities

Special Housing

As a summer staff member in special housing, you perform care and service measures based on the residents' needs.

Examples of tasks include helping with transfers, personal hygiene, administering medication, supporting during meals, cleaning, laundry, and social interaction. An important part of the role is to contribute to a meaningful life through social meetings, activities, and outdoor visits.

Working hours: Day shifts approx. 7 AM - 4 PM, evening shifts approx. 3 PM - 10 PM. The job also includes weekend work. For some positions, working hours are scheduled during night time.

Home Care Service

As a summer staff member in home care, you visit people at their homes to help them with planned care and service measures. These are usually elderly people who need support in their daily lives.

Examples of tasks include helping with transfers, personal hygiene, administering medication, supporting during meals, cleaning, laundry, shopping, and social interaction.

In Ängelholm, we have seven different home care areas across the municipality. The home care organization is called "Bo Bra Hemma" (Live Well at Home).

Working hours: Day shifts approx. 7 AM - 4 PM, evening shifts approx. 2 PM - 10 PM. The job also includes weekend work.

Qualifications

Personal Qualities

You are good with people, enjoy collaborating, and like getting things done. You take responsibility, are meticulous, and ensure that the whole picture works. We use digital tools as a natural part of our work, so you need to feel comfortable using mobile phones, computers, and other digital technology as work tools.

Education

Care education is a plus, but we are also looking for you who do not have any care education.

Experience

At the moment, we are primarily looking for you with experience from elderly care. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Language

In order for the work to be performed in a safe and understandable manner, you must master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

Age

You must have turned 18 to work as a summer staff member with us.

To be employed within Health in Ängelholm Municipality, one must present an extract from the police criminal record, "Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities". You order this via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service for record extracts. The record extract must not be more than 1 month old from the date of issue.

We will of course give you an introduction so that you feel safe and comfortable with your tasks. We work actively with learning in the work group and strive to offer a good working environment.
