The HR/Communications Department consists of a staff function and four units: HR, recruitment, communication, and competence development, and we have 45 employees. The headquarters is located in Eskilstuna.
About the position
In the role of business-oriented HR Partner, you will become part of the HR and Communications Department, whose mission is to serve as a strategic, governing, and advisory function within Fortifikationsverket. You will be part of a team of 10 HR Partners who collaborate closely both within the HR unit and with other parts of the HR and Communications Department. We have diverse competencies and experiences within the department, which is also our strength in our joint work to succeed in our mission.
All HR Partners work targeted towards one or more of Fortifikationsverket's departments and regions. In your role, you are expected to take an active part in developing the operations, strengthening leadership, and contributing to the organization reaching its goals, together with management and managers at all levels.
You will be located in Stockholm together with the current HR Partner, where our premises are centrally placed. Regular travel in the role can be planned, including visits to the headquarters in Eskilstuna where the majority of your colleagues are based. Possibility for part-time remote work exists.
Responsibilities:
- Coach and support managers in the entire HR area, with the aim of strengthening their ownership and responsibility in accordance with Fortifikationsverket's view on management and leadership
- Provide advisory support to managers in matters concerning competence supply, labor law, change management, and systematic work environment work
- Provide support in rehabilitation processes and personnel matters.
- Actively contribute to the development of HR and drive change initiatives within the organization
- Train and facilitate competence-enhancing HR initiatives in various management forums.
- Participate in contingency planning and, if necessary, serve in the staff function
You will also contribute to developing HR processes and efficient working methods within a specialist area, in close collaboration with colleagues.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who has an academic degree in personnel science or another relevant education that we assess as equivalent for the position. You have several years of experience in broad HR work and have worked both operationally and strategically, and are accustomed to independently driving HR-related assignments. You have experience working with labor law issues and have experience working in collaboration and according to the MBL (Work Life Act). You express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have a B-driver's license. Swedish citizenship is a requirement.
It is meritorious if you have experience in an organization in strong growth and if you have experience supporting employees on international assignments. It is also meritorious if you have worked with change management and public sector work.

Your pedagogical approach makes it easy for you to create good, professional relationships at all levels in the organization. You enjoy working close to the operations, are analytical, and naturally see areas for improvement.
You work independently and systematically, but also adapt easily and shift focus when the situation requires it. You are comfortable making decisions even if circumstances may be unclear. In the role, it is important that you have a strong security awareness.

About the employment
The position is a permanent employment with the possibility of a probationary period of 6 months. The place of work will be Stockholm. Start date by agreement. Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as positions at Fortifikationsverket are security classified. This means that security clearance and register checks will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act.
