About the Client Company
Do you have experience in welding or an education in the field? Then you might be the perfect person for us. We are currently looking for a manual welder for our client in Örnsköldsvik, with a focus on both manual and semi-automatic welding.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will work with welding using stick (pinne), TIG, and MAG methods. You will read drawings, perform visual assessments of welds, and rectify welding and dimensional defects when necessary. You will collaborate closely with production engineers and welding specialists to develop new method approvals and provide improvement suggestions to make the work even better. The role requires you to be flexible and adapt to the production's current needs. You should enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and feel comfortable taking responsibility for maintaining high quality throughout the entire process.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is accustomed to reading drawings and feels confident in their work. You take initiative, enjoy finding solutions, and are creative when needed. At the same time, you are meticulous, responsible, and appreciate order and structure. You work well with others but are also capable of taking independent responsibility. In your application, please describe your experience with different welding methods and materials. Having a forklift or overhead crane license, hot work certificates, or other relevant qualifications is a plus. To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you have a high school education in the industrial program with a focus on welding. You need to have good command of Swedish in both speech and writing, as well as experience in manual welding, reading drawings, and quality assessment. It is also beneficial if you are familiar with working in production systems and are comfortable using computers.
Additional Information
You will be employed by Konsultia and work on-site at our client's premises in Örnsköldsvik. The assignment is long-term, and for the right person, there are excellent opportunities for permanent employment with the company in the future. The position is full-time, and working hours vary between day shifts and 2-shift systems, depending on the department and assignment you are placed in. We review applications on an ongoing basis, so please submit your application as soon as possible. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the responsible consulting manager, Linda Wedin, at [email protected].
