BAE Systems Hägglunds is in an expansion phase with high workload and is therefore looking for more CNC operators. This is an exciting opportunity for you who currently work as a CNC operator and want to combine career development, technically advanced production, and the possibility of moving to a new location.

This is a direct employment with Hägglunds, where you will become part of an international and high-tech company within the defense industry from day one. As an employee of Hägglunds, you are offered a range of benefits, including relocation support, as well as a salary supplement based on your competency level. The salary supplement corresponds to Step 1: 3,000 SEK per month and Step 2: an additional 7,000 SEK per month. When you meet the competency requirements for both steps, you will receive a total of 10,000 SEK extra per month in addition to your base salary.

In accordance with Hägglunds security requirements, the recruitment process includes several mandatory steps. Prior to any potential employment, a background check in the criminal and conduct register will be conducted, as well as a security clearance according to current regulations. Furthermore, a health examination is included to ensure the right competency level and prerequisites for the role. All steps must be completed and approved for employment to be offered.

Job Responsibilities

As a CNC operator, you will:

• Work with large floor milling machines and boring mills with the capacity to process parts up to 20 meters in length and 5 meters in height.
• Handle machines equipped with control systems such as Siemens 840D SL.
• Work with machines that enable the processing of complex and large-scale structural components.
• Follow the entire machining process from preparation to finished part.
• Ensure quality, precision, and documentation according to established procedures.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• Extensive experience in workshop work and CNC machining.
• Several years of experience in programming and controlling larger CNC machines.
• Knowledge of control systems such as Heidenhain, Millplus, Siemens, and Turnplus (meritorious).
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.

As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and structured. You thrive in an environment where quality and safety are in focus and have the ability to work both independently and in a team.
