At BAE Systems Hägglunds, we have an exciting time ahead of us. We have a high workload and therefore need to strengthen our team with more independent and driven individuals in the role of manual welder.

As a manual welder, you will work according to drawings with manual MIG/MAG/TIG welding of details and hulls. We weld primarily in steel, but also in stainless steel.

You will become part of one of our welding teams, which consists of a total of over 90 employees. You belong to the welding department CV 90, which is under the Prototype and Hull unit.

We work with manual welding for the CV90. Currently, we work daytime hours with flextime. In the future, two-shift work may become relevant.

Who you are

We are looking for you with a high school education and who is either a trained welder or has equivalent practical experience. For this position, we are primarily looking for you who are an experienced welder with good knowledge of MIG/MAG/TIG welding. You need to be used to working according to drawings and have good knowledge of materials, primarily steel, but preferably also stainless steel and aluminum. It is meritorious if you have a welding license and forklift and/or crane certificates. If you do not have these, we offer training here!

You need to master Swedish in speech and writing and have basic IT skills for the role.

As a person, you should be self-reliant and have a quality consciousness. You should be able to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks, but also be good at collaborating in a team. We appreciate thoroughness and high risk awareness.
