Nya Skolan Pettersberg is a comprehensive school for approximately 300 students in grades Preschool Class – Grade 9, as well as an after-school center, located in Eriksro, Trollhättan. Work is carried out in teams with close collaboration with the student health team. The school is led by our principal, who has several years of experience in pedagogical leadership at Nya Skolan. Together, we create an atmosphere where knowledge is fun and learning is an exciting adventure!

We are now looking for you who are a certified craft, art, and music teacher for grades 4–9 for a permanent position with us at Nya Skolan Pettersberg.

Qualifications

We see you as an open person who is calm and confident in yourself, where collaboration is seen as a given. You are creative, proactive, and self-motivated, and have a positive attitude towards the development of the operations and the pedagogical environment. In our teaching, we use ICT tools such as Smartboards and iPads, and we communicate with guardians via the learning platform InfoMentor. You should have insight into the school's governing documents and the laws that regulate school operations, as well as experience with pedagogical documentation.

Holistic View

Pedagogically, we work with wholes. We teach students to see connections and to develop conscious and reflective thinking. We work cross-curricularly and gladly find new, creative ways to stimulate students' search for knowledge. It is about taking advantage of students' natural drive – curiosity – in all situations. The student and teacher set goals together for what the student should do each week. The starting point is that the student is involved in their own learning.

Nya Skolan Sverige AB currently consists of four preschools and three comprehensive schools located in Trollhättan and Lilla Edet municipalities.

About the Position

It is meritorious if you have a few years of experience from the teaching profession. In the position, you will teach our students in grades 4–9 at Nya Skolan Pettersberg, Trollhättan. The position is a permanent employment with a probationary period. Recruitment is ongoing.

The position is subject to a background check. Applicants must provide a certificate of no criminal record from the police before employment commences.
