We are looking for casual and summer substitutes for disability care on Öland
Are you the one we are looking for? Borgholm Municipality is now seeking engaged casual and summer substitutes for our operations within disability care for the spring and summer of 2026.
What does the operation include?
Disability care at us covers a broad spectrum of interventions, including:
- Personal assistance (LSS/SFB)
- Service apartments and Group homes (LSS)
- Supported living and social psychiatry (SoL)
- Daytime activities (LSS/SoL)
- Short-term care for children and adults (LSS/SoL)
- Relief service and escort service (including child and youth supervision over 12 years)

You work both days and evenings according to a schedule, allowing you to largely combine the job with your holiday plans. We are now seeking substitutes for the period of spring and summer 2026.

Job Responsibilities
In our operations, we work with individuals who have received a decision under LSS or SoL and need support in their daily lives. You will work with people who need clear pedagogical guidance to create predictability and clarity in their daily lives, as well as to create conditions for participation.
You are part of a work team that collaborates to develop operations based on the individual's needs and current guidelines. You continuously monitor the individual's development and support them in developing and maintaining skills and functions. You follow implementation plans and document your work, which requires digital competence. You collaborate with the team, unit manager, nurse, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, as well as relatives and others in the individual's network.
Some independent work is involved.
Requirements and Qualifications
You have completed the healthcare and social care program with a focus on disability, the child and youth program, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.
Meritorious:
- Experience working with individuals with various disabilities and/or social psychiatry.
- Experience meeting people with harmful substance use and/or addiction.
- Education and experience in AAC/PECS (AKK/TAKK).
To thrive in the role, you must be independent, driven, and able to follow instructions. You should be a confident person, stable, and enjoy working with people who have different abilities and needs. You need to be flexible regarding schedules and enjoy change management.
You have a good ability to work from a professional, structured approach, viewing the individual based on needs and daily condition, adapting your interaction with a low-affective approach as a foundation. You must be able to collaborate, follow routines, be open to giving and receiving feedback, and work solution-oriented without prestige.
You must be able to handle the Swedish language in a nuanced way, both orally and in writing. A language test may be conducted during the recruitment process.
Note: Class B driver's license and driving experience are required for supported living roles.

- Salary form: Monthly salary.
- Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
- Duration: 11 days – 3 months.
