The Land and Property Unit manages the municipality's land reserve and municipally owned properties, including land and buildings. We run various maintenance projects, handle numerous contracts, and collaborate with other units within SBK, the Telge Group, and external partners. We also serve citizens by answering questions related to land and property. In total, we manage approximately 900 objects.

We currently consist of about ten employees and a unit manager, and we are looking to grow with more property managers. We are seeking an experienced Property Manager with specialized competence in technical management. We are on a constructive journey where we are building culture, structure, and clarifying our mission—together.

Your Responsibilities

As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for various types of properties. Your recurring tasks include contract management, negotiation, communication, maintenance planning, procurement, project management of minor reinvestment projects, site visits, invoice administration, and financial control. You will communicate with tenants, suppliers, and other internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, and collaborate with our property lawyers.

Depending on your experience and the distribution of work within the unit, you may also become responsible for other types of investigation, collaboration, or process issues. Experience in project management and economics is required. Systematic documentation, case handling, and follow-up are also important and common tasks. We share responsibility for the unit's functional mailbox, where residents, associations, and companies direct their questions. You will report on projects monthly and retrieve information from our mapping system and other support systems, making good digital skills essential.

Who are you?

You have substantial documented experience in the property sector, including management, with at least 10–15 years of professional experience, and significant competence in technical management, preferably with experience in tenancy. You are eager to learn more and contribute to order, fairness, and sustainable management in our municipality. You enjoy collaborating and are comfortable meeting and communicating with residents, both during site visits and via phone. You are self-assured, adaptable in your communication style to different people and situations, and contribute to a friendly and developmental work environment.

• Highly organized with a strong ability to work systematically from start to finish.
• Strong collaborative skills, team player, unpretentious, eager to learn, and willing to share experiences and questions.
• Capable of handling parallel processes and unexpected issues without losing sight of overarching priorities such as follow-up and cost control of ongoing renovations.
• Creates clarity, enjoys finding solutions together with colleagues, takes responsibility for driving tasks to completion, and is not afraid to ask for help when needed.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in property management (university or university college), or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• Many years of documented professional experience in the field, particularly in technical management.
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work.
• Good computer skills, knowledge of the MS Office package, and extensive experience handling digital information.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Merits:

• Knowledge of LOU (Public Procurement Act), PBL (Planning and Building Act), and property law knowledge regarding easements and tenancy rights.
• At least 8 years of documented professional experience in the specific area of technical property management and project management/structured work according to a project model.
• Certified Property Manager.

Experience with:

• Property systems.
• Project management and project control systems.
• Case handling systems and methodology.
• Public authority operations and experience working in a politically governed organization.
