We are now looking for new colleagues to join the team supporting a woman in her 60s in Mariannelund. The client has a progressive muscle disease that limits her mobility, making your role as an assistant crucial for ensuring her daily life runs smoothly.

About the role & daily life

Since the client's condition means her energy levels vary, the days are largely dictated by her energy and daily condition.

• At home: The focus is on personal care, transfers, and everyday household chores.

• Activities: When she has the energy, the client enjoys baking, cooking, or going on shopping trips to stores.

• Excursions: Occasionally, longer trips are made to visit family and friends or to participate in other activities.

Working Hours & Schedule

We are looking for you who want to work as an hourly and summer substitute. The schedule is a combination of longer shifts and shorter interventions (approx. 1–1.5 hours).

• Proximity principle: Since some shifts are short, we are looking for someone who lives in the Mariannelund area so that the commute time is manageable for you.

• Flexibility: There is "room" in the basic schedule, which means good opportunities to step in extra in case of, for example, illness or vacation.

Who are you?

We are looking for a woman who is confident in herself and has a high degree of personal maturity. You need to be able to read situations and understand when activity is required and when calm and rest are needed.

Qualifications:

• Sensitive & empathetic: You understand how a progressive disease affects daily condition.

• Responsible: You are careful with hygiene, transfers, and practical tasks.

• Social & positive: You gladly share the client's interests in food and shopping when the energy is there.

• Requirements: Female applicants only. Non-smoker and no fur animal allergies (a cat lives in the home).

• Merits: Driver's license and previous experience in care work or muscle diseases.
