Within the administration, we have taken responsibility for the municipality's safety points, which is a completely new operation. As the Operations Coordinator for Safety and Preparedness, you will have the opportunity to truly make a difference and create safety for the municipality's residents.

The Employment and Social Administration is organized into three departments and a support staff. The support staff supports the core operations to ensure they function efficiently, legally securely, and with good service to citizens. You will belong to the administrative unit, which is part of the support staff, and consists of archives, board and administration management, legal functions, overarching preparedness functions, and a project office.

Responsibilities

Subject to the necessary decision, we are now seeking a coordinator for safety and preparedness. The municipality currently has two safety points that are to be used in the event of societal disruptions or crises.

The role involves responsibility for planning, coordinating, and if necessary, leading the municipality's safety points, so that they function as support for residents during crises and societal disruptions. Since the operation is completely new, the duties of the operations coordinator for the safety points may develop, change, broaden, and be supplemented over time.

In addition to working with the safety points, the role will also involve work to strengthen preparedness within the administration. This may involve routines for continuity, evacuation, or other crisis management work to ensure the administration can function under external influence.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an academic education that the employer deems relevant. It is meritorious if you also have work experience that matches the content of the position. It is an advantage if you have experience of security and preparedness issues in a municipal organization and of planning and conducting training/exercises.

We are looking for you who are a confident and structured person with a clear focus on citizens. You have the ability to drive and develop the work with safety points and preparedness in a long-term and sustainable way.

We believe you will thrive in our team if you have the ability to work systematically and independently, where you plan, document, follow up, and develop the work based on current policy documents, needs, and external conditions. You take clear responsibility for your assignment and are motivated by the implementation of decisions and measures.

You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with many different actors, both within the municipality and with external partners such as other authorities, companies, and non-profit organizations.
