We are now looking for an IT Architect who wants to contribute to structure, coherence, and long-term sustainability in Örnsköldsvik Municipality's digital environment.
Here, you will have a strategic role where you create direction and context in a complex IT landscape – from business systems and integrations to data platforms and information management.

As an IT Architect, you are responsible for developing and maintaining the municipality's overall IT architecture. You work close to the business operations and ensure that new and existing solutions are technically, functionally, and securely integrated.
The role involves:

- Ensuring that solutions are robust, secure, and manageable over time.
- Supporting the implementation of new IT solutions from a holistic perspective.
- Participating in procurement processes through clear requirement setting.
- Documenting the current state, target architecture, and strategic choices.
- Contributing to long-term sustainable information management.
- Working closely with IT operations, system administrators, development functions, and the business operations, as well as participating in the municipality's strategic digitalization work.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
- Have a relevant university degree in IT, systems science, or equivalent.
- Have experience in IT architecture, solution architecture, or a similar role.
- Have a good understanding of integrations, cloud services, and modern platforms.
- Understand the relationship between technology, business operations, and information security.
- Are structured, analytical, and see the big picture before point solutions.
- Have good communication skills in both speech and writing.
- It is an advantage if you have experience from public sector operations and work in a Microsoft environment.
Personality
- You are unpretentious, communicative, and pedagogical.
- You have the ability to translate complex technical relationships into clear choices.
- You work independently but thrive in collaboration with others, seeing long-term sustainability as a natural part of good architecture.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
A valid Class B driver's license is required.
Please attach your CV and cover letter with your application.
