Do you want to contribute to more students completing school and gaining confidence in their own abilities? At Läxhjälpen, we work closely with students, schools, and universities to create better conditions where the need is greatest.
Every year, many students leave primary school without eligibility for upper secondary education. Läxhjälpen exists to change that. Through our structured homework help programs, we support students at risk of not reaching their goals, focusing on both knowledge development and self-confidence.
We are now looking for a driven and goal-oriented Regional Manager who wants to help develop operations in the Northern Region. In this role, you will work broadly with a focus on quality in our programs, close leadership of our employees, and collaboration with schools and other stakeholders.
About the role
As Regional Manager, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on Läxhjälpen's operations in the Northern Region. You lead and support homework helpers and coordinators, and collaborate closely with both schools and external partners. The work involves both operational and developmental aspects, where you contribute to strengthening and further developing our working methods.
The role involves, in short:
- Leading and developing homework help programs in the Northern Region
- Supervising homework helpers and coordinators
- Ensuring quality and continuity in operations
- Collaborating with schools and other stakeholders regarding students' needs
- Recruitment and onboarding of new homework helpers and coordinators
- Maintaining and following up on local partner relationships
- Monitoring operations and contributing to the development of our working methods
- Driving collaborations, activities, and contexts that strengthen operations in the region
We believe that you:
- Are a secure and clear leader who thrives in a role with many contact points
- Have an interest in educational issues and youth development
- Enjoy creating structure but can also adapt to different situations
- Have experience leading work or projects, preferably in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
- Have pedagogical experience, or have worked with method and operational development
- Have experience in recruitment and/or supervision
- Share Läxhjälpen's values and want to contribute to a more equitable education system
Experience of collaboration with the public sector, schools, or business life is an advantage.
We offer:
Here you will work in an engaged organization where operations make a concrete difference in students' daily lives. You become part of a team with great knowledge and drive, and have the opportunity to influence and develop both your role and the operations.
The position is a permanent full-time employment located in Sundsvall, Östersund, or Umeå. Travel and some irregular working hours may occur.
Application
Please submit your application as soon as possible, with the final application date being June 7th. Selection is conducted on an ongoing basis.
If you have questions about the position, you are warmly welcome to contact Operations Manager Matilda Waldton, 076-1601907, [email protected]
The Läxhjälpen Foundation is a non-profit foundation that runs a targeted and result-oriented homework help program for middle school students at risk of not completing school, so that they achieve upper secondary eligibility with confidence for the future. In collaboration with business, foundations, and municipalities, the Läxhjälpen program is offered from Malmö in the south to Kiruna in the north, in over 100 schools with results below the national average, and in areas where the need is greatest.
