The Role

The working hours are spread over the day and night, including day shifts and night shifts.

About the Client

The client is a positive and active woman in her 50s who requires assistance with most aspects of daily life. Tasks include support with dressing, cleaning, personal hygiene, cooking, and more. The client places great importance on having a neat and tidy home.

The client enjoys going on outings, shopping, and is always happy to have a coffee if the opportunity arises. To thrive in this role, you need to be patient, direct, and clear in your communication, both verbally and through body language. Since the tasks are varied and take place both inside and outside the home, high demands are placed on your flexibility.

Your Qualifications

You must have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We are looking for someone who is mature in how they handle different situations, whether challenging or less demanding. Patience, humor, understanding, and initiative are very important to the client.

We are looking for someone who is self-assured, sensitive, flexible, proactive, and has a genuine interest in their work. Experience in personal assistance is required, but personal suitability will weigh the most. The client prefers female applicants.

About the Workplace

You will be part of a large team of engaged and positive assistants working towards common goals for the client's continued development. You will work according to clearly defined routines and implementation plans for all daily activities. The work is built on respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity.

Iustitia Assistans has a license from the National Board of Health and Welfare and provides fair, open, and honest assistance with a focus on giving our clients the opportunity for participation and self-determination. Our goal is to provide the client with the tools needed to manage their own life and assistance.

Background Checks and Employment Process

Iustitia Assistans has a policy of checking new employees against the police's criminal record register as part of the employment process. We value our clients' safety and security and have a routine of obtaining background checks for all persons employed by the company. This means that upon employment, we will request a background check from you before you start working.

You order the background check yourself from the police under the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The form you should choose is titled LSS - Perform certain measures for children with disabilities (442.9), regardless of which position you have applied for. The police's processing time can be up to two weeks, so we recommend ordering your background check as soon as possible. You can find the form at the following web address: https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/barn-med-funktionsnedsattning/ (https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/barn-med-funktionsnedsattning/)

By applying for a job at Iustitia Assistans, you give your consent to the employer to also check you in the Swedish Enforcement Authority's (Kronofogden) register.
