The staff consists of civilian employees who are mobilization-placed (krigsplacerade) in their regular positions.

Main Responsibilities

Defence Health will consist of doctors, nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists, and others. During the construction period, your work and training may, to some extent, be conducted in collaboration with other garrisons, and you will receive support and mentoring from Defence Health units in other locations.

After the establishment phase, the main work will focus on standard assessments, controls, and tasks within occupational medicine and primary care. You are expected to manage and develop your own professional area in collaboration with the rest of the Defence Health team.

  • Good work-life balance with flexible working hours and 28–35 days of vacation per year, depending on age according to collective agreements
  • Salary supplements during parental leave and VAB (childcare leave), as well as the option to exchange vacation days for additional pension contributions

Qualifications

  • Nursing degree
  • Specialist competence in a clinical specialty
  • Experience in occupational health services
  • Category B driver's license and manual handling certification

The position requires strong teamwork skills and an ability to plan and create structure.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability and how you fit into the Defence Health Örebro team.
