Are you a driven technical sales professional who thrives in an international environment and enjoys building long-term customer relationships? We are currently looking for a Field Sales Representative / Technical Sales Engineer for an exciting consulting assignment with a global industrial company that develops advanced technical solutions for high-temperature applications.

About the Company

The company delivers components and systems to industries such as energy, automotive, aerospace, defense, glass, and metal. In this role, you will be responsible for the markets in Denmark, Norway, and Iceland, becoming a key part of a Nordic sales team.

About the Role

As a technical sales representative, you will work closely with both customers and internal specialist teams to drive business development and ensure customers receive the right technical solutions tailored to their needs. The role combines relationship-based sales with technical consulting and business development.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop long-term customer relationships through regular customer visits
  • Identify customer needs and propose technical solutions in collaboration with internal teams
  • Drive new business acquisition and identify new commercial opportunities
  • Manage customer meetings, presentations, quotation preparation, and price negotiations
  • Own the entire sales process from initial contact to closed deal
  • Monitor results, report market insights, and contribute to forecasting

We are looking for someone who

  • Has an academic degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical field
  • Has at least 5 years of experience in technical B2B sales
  • Has experience from industrial operations, preferably in thermal technology, process industry, or technical equipment
  • Has experience dealing with international customers
  • Fluently speaks and writes Swedish and English (additional Nordic languages are an advantage)
  • Has a valid driver’s license (Category B)

About the Assignment

  • Start: ASAP
  • Scope: Full-time
  • Assignment: Permanent consulting contract
  • Travel: Approximately 30% within the Nordics

Location:

You must have the opportunity to work from the office in the Västerås area 2–3 days a week and have good access to flight connections for travel within the Nordics.

Travel is included in the role and is estimated at approximately 30%.
