About Öhn School

Öhn School is located in the countryside with nature at your doorstep, offering access to ski tracks, an ice rink, and its own school forest.

During the 2026/2027 school year, Öhn School will be divided into four classes: F–1, grades 2–3, grade 4, and grades 5–6. The operation consists of approximately 60 students and also includes Fyren's after-school center.

The school has a playground that invites creative play. Facilities include a zip line, two football fields, outdoor ping-pong tables, a bandy court, and basketball hoops, as well as proximity to the forest.

Job Responsibilities

Subject to necessary decisions, we are now seeking a qualified primary school teacher for grades 4–6 in Öhn, Resele principal's area, with placement at Öhn School.

We would prefer that you have subject competence in mathematics, Swedish, or English, but other subject competencies are also meritorious.

The work currently involves subject planning, teaching, and assessment according to the curriculum for primary school, in collaboration with other educators at the school. Mentorship is included.

Qualifications and Merits

• Teacher certification (Lärarlegitimation).
• Experience from special needs education or other student support roles is meritorious.
• Your teaching is based on active formative learning. You are skilled at analyzing your teaching and results.
• You possess good collaboration skills and build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• You are receptive and have high social competence.

Note: A police certificate of good conduct is a prerequisite for employment in this position.
