Junior Global Mobility Tax Specialist

To our client, a world-leading manufacturer of trucks and buses, SJR is now hiring a Junior Global Mobility Tax Specialist. This is a full-time consulting assignment starting as soon as possible, running until the end of November with a possibility of extension. The company operates on a hybrid model where you are expected to work on-site in Södertälje approximately 2–3 days per week. A background check will be conducted on the final candidate.

About the Role

As a Junior Global Mobility Tax Specialist, you will support the Manager HAMG in driving and documenting tax processes related to international employees globally. The role involves working on the development and structuring of tax compliance processes and contributing to the creation of new tax policies to be used by the Global Mobility team, which handles all international assignments within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects related to the documentation and development of tax compliance processes.
• Support the development of new tax policies for the Global Mobility team.
• Ensure that processes related to international employees comply with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with internal functions and contribute to improvements in global mobility.
• Support knowledge transfer and the structuring of processes.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least two years of practical experience in tax issues related to expats or international employees. To succeed in this role, we believe you have previously worked within a Global Mobility team at a company, or alternatively as a tax trainee or consultant at an audit/accounting firm. You have strong project management skills and thrive driving work forward in an international environment.

To thrive in this role, you are self-motivated, responsible, and analytical. You work in a structured manner and have an easy time understanding complex regulations and processes. You are communicative, collaborate well with various stakeholders, and are comfortable working in a global organization. As the role involves international contacts, it is important that you can express yourself fluently in English.
