About the Unit
The Infrastructure Division, part of the Headquarters, along with its Implementation Section, constitutes the Swedish Armed Forces' central infrastructure organization. It has subject-matter responsibility for leading and steering the Armed Forces' infrastructure processes: acquisition, maintenance, and decommissioning. Together with the division's other sections, there is overall responsibility for infrastructure, environmental issues, and permitting for the Armed Forces. The section consists largely of civilian employees with extensive competence in military property management within and outside the Armed Forces.
About the Position
We are looking for a Process Manager for the Implementation Section who will be responsible for implementing central decisions and directives towards the Military Branches and the Armed Forces.
You will be the one who understands how decisions are implemented, supports, and follows up on ongoing activities throughout the year. You will serve at the Headquarters' Infrastructure Division.
An interest in the acquisition of real estate, property management, and resource utilization, combined with a strong interest in the military defense of Sweden, will give you good conditions for thriving in the role.
Main Responsibilities
Here you will have the opportunity to work with varied tasks within the infrastructure area, with the aim of developing the Swedish Armed Forces' operational capability. The tasks involve daily follow-up of ongoing activities and responsibility for your own areas of responsibility regarding operations and financial follow-up. There are great opportunities to be driving the development of the infrastructure process.
- Work within the sub-processes of acquisition, maintenance, and decommissioning
- Plan parts of processes on an annual basis
- Represent the agency's interest in all property-related processes
- Project management for specific projects related to infrastructure resources
- Represent the infrastructure area internally with high subject-matter competence in both preparations and dialogues with the agency's operators
- Train colleagues in existing processes
- Analyze and present infrastructure data from a resource and operational perspective
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education deemed relevant by the Swedish Armed Forces for the position
- You must also have a good ability to understand the importance of correctly handling classified information
- Experience in chairing decision-making meetings and training sessions
- Experience in leadership positions or positions with informal leadership
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Category B driver's license

You are relationship-building, appreciate collaboration and dialogue, and are not afraid to see new solutions. It is also important that you thrive in a visible role where you can take on both the project manager role and the trainer role. MERITORIOUS
- Current experience of working in the Swedish Armed Forces
- Good knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' infrastructure process
- Previous work within a state agency or region
- Good knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Defence Engineering Agency's organization, regulations, and operations
- Good knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel

The employment is permanent, and the Swedish Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those not already employed by the agency.
The workplace is in Stockholm.
We apply remote work in a limited form. The employment rate is full-time with flexitime to simplify life balance. Business travel occurs. Start date is by agreement.

The Headquarters has approximately 1,000 employees – both professional officers and civilian experts. From 2023-01-01, the Headquarters consists of the Defence Staff, the Operations Command, the Military Intelligence and Security Service, as well as the Headquarters' Staff Division and independent units for supervision. An employment with us involves placement in a security classification. Swedish citizenship is usually required. Security clearance with register check will be conducted before employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be war-placed.
