Your role:
As Section Manager EL at Rönnskär, you are responsible for a business unit of great significance to the plant's safety, availability, and long-term development. The role is central to Rönnskär's maintenance organization and the strategic development of the business. The section's mission is to ensure and develop safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of the plant's electrical systems and process automation equipment. You have overall responsibility for the business unit's results and for ensuring efficient working methods in line with established goals and processes, together with the organization. The assignment includes responsibility for personnel, working environment, and budget.
You lead a section with approximately 55 employees who work together on the operation and development of Rönnskär's electrical equipment. The work covers everything from high and low voltage to instrumentation, process systems, communication, and associated support systems. In this role, you have 15 direct reports in roles such as unit managers, engineers, programmers, planners, and technicians. You are part of the Maintenance Management Group and report to the Maintenance Manager.
Your responsibilities:
- Personnel and working environment responsibility for the section.
- Ensure operational safety in existing electrical and automation infrastructure.
- Develop and modernize electrical installations and control systems based on business needs.
- Budget responsibility and monitoring of costs, maintenance, and results.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and authority requirements.
- Responsible for the maintenance process and monitoring of operation and maintenance work.
- Drive development and change work within the section.
Your contribution:
For this role, we are looking for you who are an experienced and confident leader with the ability to lead and develop business in technically complex environments. You are accustomed to balancing stable management with development work and creating structure and direction in organizations with high demands for safety and availability. You work with a clear holistic perspective and make well-founded decisions that strengthen both the business unit's results and long-term working methods. Your leadership is characterized by clear communication, trust, and a solution-oriented focus.
We see that you, as an applicant, have:
- A university or college degree in electrical power, control engineering, or automation technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in a leadership position with personnel responsibility.
- Good ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish and English.
- A driver's license (Category B).
The following is meritorious:
- Authorization A.
- Experience from maintenance operations in process or basic industry.
- Experience in development and change work.
