Fixed Asset Accountant for Global Truck and Bus Manufacturer in Södertälje

To our client, a global leader in the manufacturing of trucks and buses, SJR is looking for a Fixed Asset Accountant to join one of their accounting units. The company offers modern and attractive premises in Södertälje with excellent transport links. This is a full-time consultancy assignment starting on May 25th, initially running until the turn of the year, with good opportunities for extension for the right person. The work is conducted in a hybrid model where approximately 50% of the time is expected to be spent in the office.

About the Role

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for Fixed Assets and will be a key person in taking over the work from a colleague who is going on leave. A crucial part of the assignment is to ensure a smooth knowledge transfer and contribute to developing and streamlining working methods.

In addition to the FA responsibility, you will work broadly within accounting and support the team with various issues. You will be part of a senior and engaged group with a high pace, where collaboration, flexibility, and a solution-focused approach are key to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor fixed assets (FA).
• Ensure correct accounting in accordance with current regulations.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and establish working methods in the new organization.
• Handle ongoing accounting and support areas such as tax, pensions, and other accounting fields.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations.
• Contribute to improvement work and the development of processes and routines.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have experience working with fixed assets, preferably in SAP S/4HANA or a similar SAP environment. You have broad accounting competence and are accustomed to working in larger organizations with complex structures. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to quickly adapt to new working methods, systems, and processes. Experience in working both operationally and with improvement initiatives is a plus.
