As a System Developer, you work on developing functions that control how autonomous vehicles maneuver and act. This role is attractive for those who want to combine deep technical development with work in complex, socially critical systems – and for some, also in international development forums.

Our client is a high-tech company developing advanced systems within defense and aviation. The operations are characterized by research, innovation, and the development of complex, safety-critical solutions with high technical standards and long-term societal benefit.

As a System Developer, you will become part of a growing team working on flight autonomy – that is, the functions corresponding to a pilot's decisions and maneuvers. Depending on the focus, you will work primarily with technical development or in a combination of development and international collaboration regarding standards and future solutions.

• Development of functions for autonomous flight systems
• Programming and functional development in MATLAB, Simulink, and/or C++
• Simulation, verification, and validation of system behaviors
• Analysis of complex scenarios in real-time
• For certain roles: participation in international collaborations, technical forums, and standardization work

You will belong to a young and competent team where knowledge sharing and mentoring are a natural part of daily life. The work is project-based and involves close collaboration between teams in Linköping and Stockholm.

• At least 2 years of experience with C++, MATLAB, and/or Simulink
• M.Sc. in Engineering, for example in Technical Mathematics, Technical Physics, Computer Science, Space Technology, or similar
• Good technical understanding of complex systems

The position is classified. Prior to employment, you must undergo a security clearance check and be approved according to current security protection regulations. This may entail citizenship requirements.

• Advanced knowledge in control systems, simulation, or embedded systems
• Experience working in complex or safety-critical systems
• Interest in international technical collaboration and standardization
