Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the role

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. It is of utmost importance that you can work in a low-affect manner and adhere to routines. We would appreciate it if you have experience from similar work.

We are now looking for you who fits the following:

• want to work for a man in his 70s living in Kalmar

• have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

• have experience with challenging behavior

• can work in a low-affect manner

• are stable, clear, calm, and secure as a person

• can and want to work active day shifts where all time is active

• are consistent and clear but also empathetic and warm as a person

• have experience with autism and intellectual disability

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability. Delegation at employment is a requirement.

Working hours, extent of employment, and salary:

The current form of employment is "as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an extent of employment of 100%. The working hours are scheduled for 24-hour shifts from 08:00-08:00, but there are also shifts between 07:45-23:30. All time is active time.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other allowances are made according to the collective agreement.

Start date immediately or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana
