Purchaser for Region Infra – Help Build Sweden's Future

Do you want to work on some of Sweden's most extensive and socially vital infrastructure projects? We are now looking for a business-driven purchaser who wants to take a key role in our new, growing initiative: Region Infra.

About Region Infra:

Region Infra is a new, nationwide organization with a clear mission: to drive and deliver large-scale infrastructure projects across Sweden. Here, competence and strength are combined to create long-term sustainable solutions within:

• Road and earthworks
• Railways and public transport

• Major industrial projects

Your Team:

You will work closely with an experienced and engaged site manager with deep expertise in construction and infrastructure. The leadership is characterized by open dialogue and participation, with clear goals and expectations, while you are given significant responsibility and freedom in your work. About the Role:

As a purchaser within Region Infra, you have a central and strategically important role in our projects. You are responsible for the entire purchasing process and work closely with the project and production organization to ensure efficient and business-oriented solutions.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Drive the purchasing process from needs analysis to contracts and follow-up
• Conduct tenders and lead negotiations
• Evaluate and develop suppliers
• Ensure cost-effective and high-quality purchases
• Sign contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Identify and manage purchasing-related risks
• Work closely with project management and production

We are looking for you who:

Are a confident and business-minded purchaser with experience from the construction and civil engineering industry, preferably from large and complex projects. You are structured, have strong drive, and are comfortable in negotiations. At the same time, you are a team player who builds good relationships both internally and externally. We would like you to enjoy working close to operations in the project environment. The role is flexible and adapted based on your conditions, competence, and the needs of the projects.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in purchasing within construction/civil engineering
• Good knowledge of contracting law and agreements
• Experience from large project environments
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
