About the role
Adecco's client within production in Uppsala is now looking for an experienced Process Engineer for a consultancy assignment focused on improvement work in production. The assignment builds on an existing function within production and entails a clear mandate to identify areas for improvement and translate these into concrete and sustainable actions.
The role has a special focus on standardization, efficiency, and quality assurance of production processes. You will work very close to production with daily contact with lab technicians, as well as collaborate closely with QA, QC, Engineering, and other relevant functions.
This is a consultancy assignment through us at Adecco, starting as agreed, preliminarily on 2026-05-22, and the assignment is expected to last until 2026-12-31. The assignment is full-time and the work is performed on-site at the production facility in Uppsala.
Responsibilities
In the role of Process Engineer, you will among other things work with:
- Drive and implement improvement initiatives in production
- Identify improvement needs based on data, deviations, and production logs
- Standardize and harmonize working methods, documentation, and log management
- Ensure robust, efficient, and clear process flows
- Initiate, lead, and follow up on Change Controls (CC) related to process improvements
- Ensure correct implementation and documentation of changes
- Work closely with production with frequent dialogue with lab technicians
- Catch operational challenges and translate these into structured improvement work
- Update and improve governing documents and ensure compliance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, QC, Engineering, and R&D
- Participate in or support projects related to production and process development
About you
We are looking for you who have substantial experience as a Process Engineer or in a similar role within production. You have experience from laboratory production, which is very important to understand the working methods, flows, and challenges in the business. You have documented experience in driving improvement work and are accustomed to working with Change Control processes. Experience from regulated operations is highly meritorious.
As a person, you are structured, analytical, and quality-conscious. You are self-motivated, take initiative, and have a strong ability to translate operational needs into concrete improvements. You thrive in a present and hands-on role and are confident and pedagogical in your dialogue with production and other functions. We value your teamwork skills, your drive, and your ability to create results in a complex production environment.
