I am a 20-year-old guy who wants to be where things happen. I am now looking for You who want to work 75% for me.

The workplace is where I am, which could mean at my home, with me at school, or at various places around my home.

I am approved for round-the-clock assistance, so your shifts will be distributed between approx. 08:00-15:30, 15:30-21:00, and a waking night shift 21:00-08:00. You will work every other weekend on a rolling schedule.

My interests include playing video games, listening to music, bowling, watching hockey, having my own YouTube channel, carpentry, and looking at cool machines. You need to be helpful when I want to help out when the family is in the garden doing various gardening tasks, so it is a big plus if you also like that. I like being outdoors in all kinds of weather.

I live with my family and our dog in a villa in Linköping.

As a personal assistant at my home, you help with dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, transfers, and you act as my extended arm, stepping in and helping where the disability sets limits. Your role also includes planning and structuring my daily life together with me, all to make me as independent as possible. You will also handle medications, and it is important to maintain constant awareness of my general condition as I also have diabetes.

Travel may occur as my family also has a house on Gotland, which I like to visit.

I am looking for You who:

• Tolerates pets, as our family has a dog.
• Has good physical fitness, as transfers are part of the duties.
• Is passionate about your work and wants to make a difference for another person.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Has experience working as a personal assistant, preferably with young people!
• Sees this work as a long-term assignment.
• Has a high level of commitment to your work.
• Can travel, e.g., to Gotland.
• A big extra plus if you also have experience with diabetes. If you don't, we will train you.

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships and to take great responsibility. With our client, it is important that the parents feel secure when you are caring for their young adult. Therefore, it is meritorious if you have previous experience working with children, young people, or in healthcare. We also see it as meritorious if you have experience with low-affective interaction.
