Heliås is an independent school for grades F-6 located in the beautiful nature of Hemmanet in Njurunda, just outside Sundsvall. The school has a science focus, meaning students have more time for science subjects and learn through a scientific approach in all subjects. For the 2026–2027 school year, we are looking for a teacher, or alternatively a leisure center teacher, with qualifications to teach art and/or music. Some time will be allocated to preschool class.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for the planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching in art and music according to current guidelines. You contribute to a safe and stimulating learning environment and collaborate closely with colleagues and school leadership.

Qualifications

• Teacher certification with eligibility to teach art and/or music for grades 1–6, alternatively 1–3 or 4–6. Alternatively, a leisure center teacher with eligibility to teach in one of these subjects.
• Strong pedagogical skills and clear leadership.
• Relational approach and good collaboration skills.
