SJR is looking for an analytically strong Junior Group Business Controller

SJR is currently seeking an analytically strong Junior Group Business Controller for a consultancy assignment with a client in the construction industry. The position is located in Solna. The assignment is full-time, starting in mid-June and running through the turn of the year, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate. We are looking for you who wish to be employed as a consultant at SJR, with a monthly salary and pension benefits according to collective agreement.

About the Role

The role is central to Group Business Control and focuses clearly on board reporting, support for the CFO, and analysis-driven ad hoc assignments. You will work closely with the CFO function and contribute qualified decision support in both strategic and operational matters. The role is characterized by a high level of analytical skill, strong IT competence, and the ability to translate financial and data-driven information into value-creating insights.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the structure, content, and quality of the group's board reporting.
• Development of qualified ad hoc analyses commissioned by the CFO.
• Close collaboration with the CFO office on strategic and operational issues.
• Operation, development, and further development of data-driven analyses, models, and reporting flows.
• Active work on development and training within Power BI, particularly related to Working Capital.

Qualifications

You have 3–5 years of experience in qualified controller or business control work, preferably in a group environment. You possess high IT and system proficiency with a particular focus on data, analysis, and reporting tools, and are accustomed to working in a data-driven manner. Experience with Power BI and working with financial models and reporting flows is advantageous. You are confident working closely with senior decision-makers and handling complex information in a changing environment.
