As a work support assistant (Arbetshandledare), you provide support and help to employees at their workplace. You strive to ensure that employees have a meaningful, active, and rich working life based on their conditions and needs.

The duties include providing individual support, care, and performing tasks within our various areas of focus.

You work independently, are responsible, team-oriented, and have a positive attitude, seeing potential problems as opportunities for development.

The work requires you to be stress-resistant, structured, and forward-thinking. You are loyal, clear, proactive, flexible, see opportunities, and wish to participate in development work.

About the Position

We are currently looking for summer substitutes for our operations located in central Nässjö. As a work support assistant, you work with people with disabilities within personal group 1 under the LSS Act (Swedish Social Services Act), including intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-like conditions. Additional diagnoses such as ADHD, ADD, Tourette's, and behavioral issues may also occur. You work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues.

In the role, you will:

• Provide support and help to employees at their workplace.
• Strive to ensure that employees have a meaningful, active, and rich working life/employment based on their conditions and needs.
• Provide individual support and care.
• Perform tasks within our various areas of focus.

Employment Terms

Working hours are daytime, Monday–Friday. The summer substitute positions cover weeks 29–32.

We apply individual salary setting, and other benefits are provided according to collective agreements.

Who are you?

As a person, you are service-oriented, attentive, and accommodating. The role of work support assistant also requires patience, flexibility, and sensitivity. • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as documentation is a large part of the work.
• A manual B-driver's license.

Merits if you have:

• Experience from similar operations.
• Education as a nurse assistant (undersköterska), special educator, or behavioral scientist.
• Knowledge of low-affective handling and clarifying pedagogy.
