We are now looking for nurses to join our care and nursing homes in Västerås. Together with us, you will help develop municipal healthcare in a secure and professional environment.

Your responsibilities

You work independently with healthcare interventions and are part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of assistant nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, doctors, and social workers. You have overall responsibility for the work and mentor the team based on your knowledge. Your role is central regarding medical assessments, prioritization of interventions, and support for care staff.

You coordinate, plan, implement, and evaluate care measures, as well as identify and prevent health risks. The work is varied, including both planned interventions and acute situations requiring quick action. You will have the opportunity to establish good care relationships with your patients.

You will be placed at one of our care and nursing homes and work closely with other nurses in the group. Most nurses have care responsibility for a specific unit, but we are also looking for staff for our resource group that supports multiple units.

Working hours: Monday to Sunday, 07:00–21:00. This includes weekend shifts every 8th week and approximately 2 evening shifts per month.

Your qualifications

You are confident in your profession, thrive with significant responsibility, and are ready to take on leadership roles. You have the ability to prioritize and make decisions in critical situations. You work in a team with other nurses and value good collaboration and relationships. You have the opportunity to plan and structure your own working day.

We are looking for you who have a Swedish nursing license and preferably experience working with the elderly or people with dementia. A valid B-driver's license is required as driving is part of the job.
