We are looking for a Social Secretary (Social Worker) for a consultancy assignment within the social emergency service. The assignment involves exercising public authority according to current legislation, with a focus on acute interventions and investigations.

The work covers case handling in several areas, such as the Act concerning Care of Young Persons (LVU), the Act for Special Care of Persons with Substance Abuse Problems (LVM), the Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), domestic violence, social psychiatry, and protective measures. The role includes qualified investigative work according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and LVU, assessing the needs of children, young people, and adults, and developing proposals for interventions in collaboration with the individual and the work group. Follow-up of approved interventions and documentation according to BBIC are included.

Qualifications

• Social Work degree (Socialsekreterare/Socionom)
• Experience with public authority tasks within social services
• Good knowledge of SoL, LVU, LVM, and LSS
• Experience in investigative work
• Experience from social emergency services or intake units is an advantage
• Ability to work in a structured and independent manner
• Good teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and make decisions
• Very good command of Swedish, both spoken and written

About the Assignment

• Workload: 70% to 75%
• Assignment period: June 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension or earlier termination
• Location: On-site in Eksjö
• Working hours: Weekdays 15:30 to 24:00, with on-call duty from 00:00 to 08:00
• Weekend work: From Friday 15:00 to Sunday, with active hours and on-call duty according to schedule
• Work is performed together with a colleague who is constantly available, even during on-call periods
• On-call duty means being able to respond quickly when needed
• Holiday cannot be taken during the assignment period
