We are looking for personal assistants who want to work as summer substitutes and hourly substitutes for a man who has suffered a stroke. The summer substitute period runs from week 26 to 33. We would like you to start immediately so that you can get settled before the regular staff goes on holiday. There is a great opportunity to continue working as an hourly substitute after the summer.

You should be empathetic, pedagogical, patient, flexible, and positive. Calm, secure, and reliable. IMPORTANT is that you are a mentally stable person, as the work can be psychologically demanding at times. Experience with aphasia is a plus. Being sensitive, focused, and attentive to the user's needs is seen as a matter of course.

Working hours are during the day and evening (no nights).

We place great emphasis on personal suitability, interpersonal chemistry, and teamwork. Since you will be working in the user's home, it is important that you have a professional attitude.

Duties include daily assistance such as help with communication, walks, some help with dressing and undressing, some cooking, transfers, leisure activities, and shopping, etc. The user likes to go out every day. Ensure that everything in daily life runs smoothly; a large part of the job involves supervision and ensuring that the user can live as normal a life as possible.

Björkö Assistans AB is an assistance company with an office in Linköping. We are primarily located in Östergötland, but also have operations in Västervik.

As an employee at Björkö Assistans AB, you will receive training, the right to the introduction you need to feel confident in your role as a personal assistant, regular staff meetings, and a wellness allowance. We have short communication lines, meaning you will have an accessible customer manager and management.

Terms of Employment:

You will be employed by Björkö Assistans AB, where your employment is tied to the user.

We follow the collective agreement for Personal Assistance (Sector G) by Vårdföretagarna and Kommunal.
