At our organization, you are involved in development on multiple levels – the organizational, team, subject-specific, personal, and student levels. Apprenticeship is a new educational format for us, and we need to hire more vocational teachers for our program due to increased demand for our school-based education.

Responsibilities

You will serve as a mentor for students, taking full responsibility for all aspects of mentorship. Your duties as a teacher will include planning, teaching, examinations, grading, and evaluation. Teaching will take place in both the apprenticeship program and the school-based education. You will work within teams as well as subject-specific groups. You will visit students during their Workplace Learning Period (APL) to assess their performance and knowledge in collaboration with workplace supervisors. You will collaborate and plan with our two other painters and other vocational teachers on the program.

Qualifications

• Vocational teacher with the qualifications to teach at the Construction and Civil Engineering Programme.
• Applicants without formal vocational teacher education are also welcome to apply.
• You are creative, flexible, and possess strong knowledge within the vocational field.
• You balance theoretical knowledge with practical work tasks.
• You have the ability to motivate students in their learning and communicate in a positive, attentive, and clear manner.
• You excel at building good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, and are open to collaboration.

Merits

• Good contacts within the industry are valuable.
• Knowledge of traditional painting techniques and decorative painting.
• Vocational certificates in the field.
• Interest in youth entrepreneurship and business.

• Interviews will be conducted continuously throughout the application period.
• Permanent position with a probationary period.
