We are looking for an engaged and driven treatment pedagogue for our activity center at Gålö HVB for boys aged 14–18.

The activity center aims to provide meaningful engagement for young people who do not have the capacity to manage activities outside the HVB home. It can also serve as a complement to, for example, school. The individual treatment plans form the basis for each young person's activities at the center. The operations run on weekdays (approx. 09:00–16:00) and have an ambition to eventually also accept young people from other facilities.

About the role

Fixed-term position from September 2026 to June 2027. You will collaborate with each young person's team, as well as with a colleague in the kitchen, and be responsible for planning, organizing, and driving the operations forward. The team consists of social workers, treatment assistants, and psychologists.

• Gardening
• Tutoring and other school assignments
• Creative activities
• Bicycle workshop
• Gym
• Kitchen (performed by a chef)

The content can be developed over time based on needs.

Your selected tasks

• Record keeping and behavioral registration
• Create individual schedules for young people in consultation with the team
• Participate in admission and planning for each young person
• Ensure that young people receive meaningful engagement
• Create an inspiring and secure environment
• Responsible for purchases and budget within your areas
• Supervise and potentially mentor interns

• Has good collaboration skills

Requirements:

• 2-year post-secondary education in social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science (full-time, certificate required)
• Category B driver's license
• Extract from the criminal record
