About Us

The Rehabilitation Clinic is part of the Health and Medical Care Administration and operates at both locations of Blekinge Hospital: Karlskrona and Karlshamn. The clinic organizes inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation at Blekinge Hospital, including specialist, pain, and cancer rehabilitation. We work with rehabilitation medicine and methodology based on the patient's needs and goals, within multidisciplinary teams. We have approximately 160 employees from various professions who work with the patient at the center.

About the Job

We are now looking for a Neuropsychologist for the Rehabilitation Clinic. As a Neuropsychologist, you will meet patients with spinal cord injuries, chronic pain conditions, stroke, brain injuries, multiple traumas, and other complex conditions. As a Neuropsychologist at the rehabilitation clinic, you will work with assessments and investigations of neuropsychological abilities to support the patient's rehabilitation process and help the rehabilitation team determine how to move forward. You will examine prerequisites for studies, work, and independent daily living, as well as map strengths in cognitive functions. Since we are a clinic located in two places, presence at both locations is required based on patient needs. The initial placement can be either in Karlshamn or Karlskrona. The basic requirement is 40%, but the extent is open for discussion.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist, preferably a neuropsychologist, and preferably have experience with assessments. You master the Swedish language in both speech and writing. It is valuable to us that you have a good approach to people and enjoy working in teams. We would like you to be a secure and stable person with good collaboration skills and a structured work approach. We assume flexibility and good communication skills. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability for the position.
