Our Assignment:
Are you looking for a meaningful part-time position in a pleasant environment? We are currently recruiting, on behalf of our client, an experienced and confident Financial Assistant who wants to become part of a well-functioning team based in central Stockholm. Our client is approaching a small milestone. Their fantastic colleague, who has been a rock in the team, is retiring. With warm hands, she now wishes to hand over her files (and the digital workflow in Unit4) to someone who, just like her, enjoys order and structure while also having a good time at work. The assignment starts in August as a consulting role through Avanzera at approximately 50–60%, with the goal that the role will eventually transition into a permanent position with the client. This is a perfect role for you if you want to work approximately 2.5–3 days a week and are looking for something long-term.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will work in close and flat-hierarchy collaboration with the company's Finance Manager. He is best described as a very considerate and supportive leader who ensures you have the right conditions to get started. There is room to grow and eventually take on more responsibility in an environment where colleagues help each other and value high-quality delivery. Main responsibilities:
- Management of customer and supplier accounts.
- Bank reconciliations and payments.
- Continuous bookkeeping.
- Ad hoc tasks that may arise within the finance department.
Your Background:
We are looking for you who have a solid background in finance and feel confident in the basics of accounting. You are someone who enjoys taking responsibility for your tasks, are meticulous, and appreciate order and structure. Desirable experience: If you have previous experience with VAT and tax handling, balance reconciliations, or project accounting, it is a plus. Experience with payroll administration (as you will handle data for an external partner) and participation in monthly and annual closing is preferred. Previous experience with Unit4 ERP is also desirable. As a person, you are stable, flat-hierarchy, and communicative. We believe you will thrive best in a smaller team where there is open dialogue and a genuine interest in supporting each other.
