We are looking for you who are reliable, secure, fearless, and possess strong social competence. It is also a plus if you find it rewarding to work in a structured manner and follow the guidelines that exist in the client's life and contribute to her well-being. You must be over 20 years old, energetic, and alert.
The client is a 37-year-old woman seeking personal assistants. She needs a responsible and secure person by her side during all her waking hours.
Hours: Daytime with double staffing (7.5 hours).
The client has autism and a learning disability. We communicate using pictures and signs as support. Experience in this area is a merit, as is knowledge of low-affective interaction and the ability to work pedagogically and follow instructions. However, this is not a requirement; the willingness to learn, personal suitability, and engagement are most important.
The job involves helping her with most aspects of daily life, structuring the day, suggesting various activities, and assisting her with household chores.
