Job Responsibilities

We are currently looking for preschool teachers for Strömstad's municipal preschools. As a preschool teacher, you play a key and leading role in education. Together with your work team, you are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on education based on the preschool curriculum and other governing documents.

You create safe, inspiring, and accessible learning environments both indoors and outdoors that encourage play, exploration, and creativity. You value children's experiences, interests, and needs, and give them influence over their education.

The role also involves participating in systematic quality work, analyzing teaching, and contributing to the development of both your own child group and the preschool as a whole. You collaborate closely with guardians and serve as a clear and professional contact in daily life.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a license as a preschool teacher, or who will shortly complete a degree that qualifies for a license. You have good knowledge of the preschool's mission, the curriculum, and other governing documents.

You have good digital competence and are confident working in various digital systems.

As a person, you are relationship-building and establish trusting relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians. You are a secure and clear leader in the child group, have an inclusive approach, and a strong belief in the competent child.

You are solution-oriented, contribute to a good work climate, and see collaboration and collegial learning as natural parts of the role.

You communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
