About the Company

Do you want overall responsibility for technology and maintenance in a modern industrial environment – while contributing to the company's long-term development? Wikan Personal is now looking for a Production Technical Manager for an industrial company in Ovanåker Municipality. In this central role, you will combine strategic thinking with close operational leadership, playing a key role in driving improvement initiatives and investment projects within production.

Your Responsibilities

As Production Technical Manager, you are responsible for maintenance, technology, and development of the machinery and equipment in a modern and forward-looking industrial environment. You lead and develop a team of five employees and are a technically knowledgeable and present leader who actively participates in daily work when needed. The role is part of the factory management group and plays an important function in contributing to the factory's overall strategy and priorities.

• Responsible for operation, development, and availability of the machinery and equipment.
• Ensure high operational reliability as well as increased productivity and efficiency in production.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance work to minimize unplanned stoppages.
• Responsible for preparation and costing.
• Plan and implement structured, scheduled maintenance and develop routines and working methods.
• Lead the implementation and commissioning of new technology and machinery together with internal and external parties.
• Identify and drive technical improvement initiatives and projects within production.

Your Background/Qualities

We are looking for you who have experience in production technology and maintenance within manufacturing industry, as well as familiarity with machine installations, investment projects, and improvement work in an industrial environment. You have a good understanding of machine control, PLC systems, and automation. Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are required. It is meritorious if you have a post-secondary technical education, preferably with a focus on mechanical engineering, production technology, or automation. Experience from industry with machining is also seen as meritorious. As a person, you are a business-oriented, secure, and trustworthy leader with good communication skills. You are goal-oriented, structured, and development-driven, with the ability to identify and drive improvements.
