Skolia is looking for a part-time School Doctor in Stockholm.

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with specialist competence in school health care, general practice, child and adolescent psychiatry, or child and adolescent medicine.

Job Description (Responsibilities):

As a School Doctor, you play a vital role in the health-promoting and preventive work of the Student Health Service. From an individual perspective, you work to remove obstacles to each student's learning and development. You work together with the school nurse at each respective school and hold consultations at the schools, which are planned by the school nurse. The overarching goal of your assignment is to contribute to and create a good learning environment for the students' knowledge and social development.

The work includes routine tasks such as medical assessments and assessments for potential investigations. Examples include growth-related issues, development-related issues, school difficulties, neuropsychiatric issues, vaccination assessments, and back checks.

We want you to contribute with:

• Medical competence in interdisciplinary discussions and assessments.
• Consultation and advice to staff and school management.
• Contact and collaboration with external actors such as Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (BUP), primary care, inpatient care, and social services.
• Competence development and development work at different levels within the organization.

Qualifications: Licensed physician with completed specialist competence in either school health care, general practice, child and adolescent psychiatry, or child and adolescent medicine.

You show interest and understanding for others. You listen, consult others, and communicate proactively. You build good relationships with students and staff. You build effective networks within and outside the organization.

You set high standards for quality and quantity and work in a systematic and reliable manner to achieve your goals.

You are well acquainted with network-based documentation technology. We work in the Prorenata medical record system.

You have a driver's license (category B).

For this position, presenting a valid extract from the police criminal record is a prerequisite for employment.

Skolia offers a generous wellness allowance, mileage allowance, or compensation for public transport.

The employment is part-time, permanent, with long summer holidays. Start date 2026-08-11 or as agreed.
