Do you want to build the foundation for data-driven decisions? We are now looking for a Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure who wants to help further develop our data platform and create business value through accessible, reliable, and relevant data.

About the role

As a Data Engineer, you work with the entire data flow – from collection and structuring to modeling, analysis, and visualization. The focus is on data platform and pipeline development in Microsoft Azure, where you ensure stable, scalable, and well-functioning solutions that support both operations and decision-making.

You work closely with BI developers, IT, and the business, contributing both operationally and in the development of future architecture and ways of working.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and further develop Pågen's data platform in Microsoft Azure
• Build and maintain data pipelines from business systems, production systems, and other sources
• Model data for analysis, reporting, and BI
• Ensure data quality, performance, and information security
• Collaborate with BI developers and the business regarding reports and dashboards
• Contribute to architecture and design decisions within data and analytics
• Support the organization in becoming more data-driven
• Participate in projects related to ERP (D365), production (MES), CRM, and other central systems
• Work operationally in Power BI

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience in data and BI development
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Azure, e.g., Azure Data Factory, Fabric, Synapse, SQL, and Data Lake
• Strong competence in databases, data modeling, and data architecture
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes
• Good understanding of information flows and integrations

Sitting physically close to the heart of our operations – the bakery – gives a unique understanding of our processes and creates a close connection between IT, the business, and what we actually produce.
