About the Operations

Matfors Health Centre is part of the healthcare area Sundsvall/Ånge. This includes, besides Matfors, also Liden, Granlo, Stöde, and Ånge health centres, with which we have continuous cooperation. At our health centre, we are a fantastic team of 25 employees and currently 6 specialist-trained general practitioners in varying employment degrees. Besides the medical group, we naturally also have district nurses/nurses with various special competencies, assistant nurses, counselors, psychologists, medical secretaries, receptionists, physiotherapists, foot care specialists, and sick leave coordinators.

We are located in a rural setting in fantastic nature but not far from Sundsvall. If you live in Sundsvall, there are good transport connections by bus, with a bus stop a stone's throw from our entrance. Our health centre has approximately 6,800 patients, and in the area, there are 3 SÄBO facilities (special housing for the elderly), 1 security housing facility, and naturally also home care services which we are responsible for. We are a tightly knit team that knows our patients well and has a cozy and family-like atmosphere that is contagious.

We place great emphasis on patient interaction and work extensively with care at the right level of care to follow the development of healthcare. The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date according to agreement.

Responsibilities

• Work with both emergency and planned reception, primarily in person but also digitally if needed.
• Mentor AT (basic training) and ST (specialist training) colleagues.
• Support other professional categories in medical assessments.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Are a specialist doctor in general medicine with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare.
• Have language skills in Swedish in speech and writing at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

It is an advantage if you

• Have another specialist area.
• Have work experience within primary care.
